Reeson Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Hanwell, who are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience within a primary school setting.

You will work closely with a pupil with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored 1:1 support to help them access learning, develop confidence and reach their full potential.

The Role

Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs. Supporting learning, communication and social development. Helping the pupil engage with classroom activities and the wider school environment. Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.

Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to support the pupil's individual needs. The Ideal Graduate: A recent graduate with a degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Childhood Studies or a related subject. Passionate about working with children and making a difference.

Interested in pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, child development or SEN. Patient, empathetic and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach. Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
