Job Description Senior Accountant Manchester City Centre £45,000 - £50,000 Some firms give you a desk, a portfolio and a list of deadlines. This one gives you autonomy, freedom and a chance to progress to management! You’ll join an established practice with a high-quality portfolio of clients, taking real ownership of your work and becoming a trusted point of contact across a broad range of accounting and tax matters.
You’ll work closely with a highly experienced, qualified manager who knows their stuff, gives you the autonomy to get on with it, and is someone you can genuinely learn from. It’s a strong technical environment, but without the corporate feel or layers of management.
The role
Manage a portfolio of established and highly regarded clients Take ownership of year-end and statutory accounts Prepare and review personal and corporation tax returns Complete VAT returns Prepare management accounts Act as a key point of contact for your clients Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Manage your own workload and deadlines Work closely with senior management on more complex client requirements Continue developing your technical expertise and commercial understanding Why this one?
