Role & ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of education projects, including large-scale school developments across the UKDevelop project briefs into coordinated design solutions in line with the RIBA Plan of WorkProvide technical and design leadership throughout project stages, supporting quality and complianceCoordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes and consistent project communicationContribute to Pre-Construction Information, project deliverables and robust architectural design informationAuthor specifications using NBS and maintain technical compliance throughout project delivery stagesSupport planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and Building Safety Gateway requirementsAttend and lead client, consultant and contractor meetings, workshops and project reviewsSkills & Experience RequiredARB registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years UK architectural experienceStrong experience delivering education projects, ideally including large DfE school schemesExcellent understanding of Building Bulletins and current education design standardsCommercial and contractual awareness with ability to support coordinated project deliveryMinimum 2 years of experience using Autodesk Revit within architectural practiceAdvanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign for presentations, reports and project communicationKnowledge of UK Construction Law, British Standards and relevant Codes of PracticeStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills across complex project teamsSalary & BenefitsSalary 45,000 – 55,000 depending on experienceHybrid working arrangement25 days annual leave plus public holidays, increasing with serviceCareer progression and ongoing professional development supportPaid professional membershipsBUPA Health Cash Plan, Life Assurance scheme and Critical Illness coverDiscretionary bonus scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme and supportive working environmentWho Is This Role Ideal For?
