The organisation delivers technically diverse building services projects across sectors including healthcare, life sciences, defence and renewable energy. You will become part of a collaborative team focused on delivering sustainable, resilient and high-quality engineering solutions.

Your new roleAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical building services projects from early concept through to detailed design and construction. You will produce electrical designs, calculations, specifications, reports, drawings and plant schedules, typically working across RIBA Stages 1 to 4.You will manage your own workload across multiple projects, undertake site surveys and construction-stage duties, and coordinate with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines.

You will also contribute to sustainable and energy efficient designs while helping to maintain a consistently high standard of technical delivery. What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally have: An accredited degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineRelevant experience in electrical building services designStrong knowledge of applicable technical standards and legislationExperience producing calculations, specifications, reports and technical drawingsProficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Relux, Dialux, Amtech or NBSThe confidence to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projectsStrong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skillsAn interest in progressing towards Chartered Engineer statusThe ability to obtain or hold MOD Security Check clearancePrevious senior level experience, including project coordination and mentoring junior colleagues, would be advantageous.
