Overview As Engineering Team Lead in AI Labs, you will steer multiple workstreams within the MicroPOS initiative, delivering robust, scalable software while mentoring early-career engineers. You'll shape full-stack solutions, integrate them into the Dojo ecosystem, and guide PoC explorations with emerging tooling.
This role blends hands-on architecture with people leadership in a dynamic, exploratory environment. You'll partner with product and tech leadership to align technical work with business goals, driving impact and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Lead system architecture and design to ensure scalability and maintainability Own the software delivery lifecycle with best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines Mentor and develop engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and leadership potential Collaborate with product, tech management, and stakeholders to achieve objectives with predictability Drive PoC initiatives to explore new tools and agentic frameworks, informing architecture decisions Align technical efforts with the product roadmap and optimize system performance Key requirements Proven leadership experience managing people and building inclusive teams Strong senior software engineering background across client and server-side tech (Python, .NET, Java) Experience with frontend (React, TypeScript) and modern agile practices Solid knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) Interest in or experience with agentic frameworks (Google ADK, Akka, LangGraph) Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills ownership and accountability curiosity and willingness to learn humility and honesty Python .NET Java
