Robert Half are working in exclusive partnership with an established and growing consultancy based in Oxford to recruit a Senior Finance Manager on a part-time basis (22.5 hours). This is a permanent position created due to internal promotion, a great opportunity to join an established firm in a role offering progression and development.

This is as a part-time position (22.5 hours) with ownership as a senior leader and ability to grow in responsibility, you will come from a technical and controls background with an understanding of tax requirements and ability to provide leadership within a stable function.

The Senior Finance Manager position will be paying in the region of 80,000 to 85,000 per annum (full time equivalent, pro rata to 22.5 hours) with hybrid working (1-2 days on site) and a great prospect for future development.

Key responsibilities includeLead month end process for overall group and associated entitiesLead the year end close process ensuring robust controls and timely reporting alongside being key liaison with the auditorsOwn and drive continuous improvement within financial reporting and controls processesPreparation of statutory financial statements across the group and international entitiesOversee group tax return preparation and submission alongside managing external relationshipsKey advisor to the business in areas of tax compliance and technical guidance, ensuring mitigation of risk and adherence to regulationAct as a catalyst for finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, adoption of AI enablement and streamlining of business-as-usual areasLeadership position within the finance function, deputising for the CFO and comfortable with a likely progression to direct team managementAbout your experienceFully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), this role would suit a candidate trained through practice but all prior experience consideredExperience within partnership accounts, either gained in house or through practice audit/preparation is advantageousAbility to take ownership and responsibility of the accounting function, you will initially be seen as a Senior Leader with a likely route to direct team managementBreadth of experience across statutory accounting and compliance, tax, treasury and reportingRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
