Hiring: Senior Planning Enforcement Officer Location: Shrewsbury Shropshire Council is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to join the Planning Enforcement Team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage planning enforcement cases and investigations Provide specialist planning enforcement advice Evaluate evidence, prepare reports, and support enforcement decisions Attend planning committees, hearings, public inquiries, and site meetings Support and guide planning enforcement colleagues Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve service delivery Ideal Candidate: Strong experience in planning enforcement and development management Local authority planning experience preferred Good knowledge of planning regulations, enforcement processes, and appeals Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills Interested or know someone suitable?
