Senior Upstream Energy Underwriter | London London Market | Energy | Upstream I am currently recruiting for a Senior Upstream Energy Underwriter to join a growing Energy team in the London Market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is investing in its Upstream Energy proposition , with ambitions to build a strong presence in the London market and develop the portfolio further.
The opportunity The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and underwriting the Upstream portfolio, working closely with brokers and clients and contributing to the wider growth strategy. You will have the opportunity to: Underwrite a broad range of Upstream Energy risks Develop and grow an existing portfolio Build strong relationships with brokers and clients Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Energy business Contribute to the development of the team's strategy and market proposition Play an important role in a growing platform with significant long-term ambitions About you We are looking for an experienced Upstream Energy Underwriter with a strong London Market background and established broker relationships.
You will ideally have: Significant experience underwriting Upstream Energy A strong understanding of the London Energy market Established broker and client relationships A proven track record of portfolio development and profitable underwriting The ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a growing team This could suit someone who is looking for the opportunity to have real influence over the growth of an Upstream Energy proposition , rather than simply managing an established book.
