Site Supervisor

SITE SUPERVISOR - MAJOR UTILITIES & INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS Location: Tipton (Project specific site visits across Birmingham and nationwide) About the Company Our client is a long-established and growing utility and civil engineering contractor with decades of experience delivering major utility and infrastructure projects across the UK.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering complex schemes safely, reliably and to the highest standards for major asset owners, utility providers, developers and principal contractors. Following continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their operations team.

The Role To be responsible for the installation of multi-utilities across a portfolio of major infrastructure projects. This role will involve managing client relationships, direct labour and subcontractors while ensuring networks are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities Complete site meetings and client liaison regarding safety, technical standards and work programming. Issue and explain technical standards and project requirements to clients, workforce and customers. Supervise utility network installations ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Ensure assets are installed in accordance with approved designs, specifications and industry standards. Manage direct labour and subcontractors across multiple projects. Monitor project variations, productivity, programme and budgets.

Maintain accurate site diaries and photographic records. Provide technical advice to clients, contractors and internal teams. Manage materials and site logistics to minimise waste. Investigate incidents and utility damages and complete reporting requirements.

Conduct site audits and manage corrective actions. Support staff competency reviews, appraisals and workforce development. Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry legislation and training requirements. Technical Skills & Experience Extensive Site Supervisor, Utilities Supervisor or Site Manager experience.
