Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Reference: 1392 Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £45,000 per annum Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire Job Type: Technical/Engineering Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Job Summary We are recruiting on behalf of our key client for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a multi-building site in Stevenage.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, electrically biased engineer to take responsibility for maintenance across three buildings within a single campus. The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across mechanical and electrical building services, with a particular focus on electrical systems.

You will play a key role in ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably while maintaining high standards of compliance and service delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across three buildings.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and diagnose faults.
• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical building services, with an emphasis on electrical systems.
• Conduct fault finding to ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant industry standards, site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and logbooks.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the site by delivering a professional and reliable engineering service. Requirements
• Strong electrical engineering background; an electrical bias is preferred.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and experience in building services maintenance.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance requirements across multiple buildings.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK What's on Offer
• £45,000 per annum.
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
• Plenty of overtime available.
• A resident engineering role at a single-site location.
