Student Recruitment Officer – UK Home Students

p strong Smart Move Education Group /strong is seeking an experienced strong Student Recruitment Officer /strong to join our growing team. /p p We are looking for a candidate with strong proven experience in student recruitment, particularly working with UK Home Students /strong , alongside a strong understanding of the UK higher education sector, university admissions processes, course options and student eligibility. /p strong About Smart Move Education Group /strong p Smart Move Education Group is a British Council–certified student recruitment consultancy with offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester. /p p We support students throughout their higher education journey by providing professional guidance on university and course selection, applications, documentation and admissions. /p p We are proud to be a strong British Council Approved consultancy /strong , a strong UCAS Registered Centre /strong , and the recipient of the strong Student Recruitment Consultancy of the Year 2024 /strong award at the HR Employment Awards. /p strong Key Responsibilities /strong ul li Recruit and advise prospective UK Home Students /li li Conduct student consultations and assess academic backgrounds, qualifications and study objectives /li li Recommend suitable universities and courses based on student eligibility and career goals /li li Manage the end-to-end student recruitment process from initial enquiry through to application, offer and enrolment /li li Provide accurate guidance on university entry requirements, application procedures and supporting documentation /li li Maintain regular communication and follow-up with prospective students /li li Convert qualified enquiries into successful applications /li li Monitor application progress and maintain accurate student records /li li Build and maintain strong relationships with students, universities and internal teams /li li Work towards individual and team recruitment targets /li li Stay up to date with UK universities, courses, admissions requirements and higher education developments /li li Support recruitment events, open days and promotional activities where required /li /ul strong Essential Experience Requirements /strong ul li strong Previous professional experience in student recruitment, education consultancy, university admissions or a related higher education role /strong /li li strong Proven experience working with and recruiting UK Home Students /strong /li li Strong understanding of the UK higher education system and university admissions processes /li li Good knowledge of UK universities, courses and entry requirements /li li Experience managing students through the full application and enrolment journey /li li Strong communication, consultation and relationship-management skills /li li Excellent organisational and follow-up abilities /li li Target-driven mindset with a strong focus on student conversion and service quality /li li Ability to manage multiple applications and priorities effectively /li li Proficiency in Microsoft Office /li li Fluent written and spoken English /li li Must currently be based in the UK /li li Must have the legal right to work in the UK /li /ul strong Desirable /strong p Candidates with experience working within Romanian, Bulgarian, Portuguese or wider European communities in the UK will be highly regarded. /p p Fluency in strong Romanian, Bulgarian or Portuguese /strong would also be an advantage. /p strong What We Offer /strong ul li Competitive salary /li li Attractive commission structure /li li Career progression opportunities /li li Professional development within a growing organisation /li li Supportive and collaborative working environment /li li Exposure to a wide range of UK universities and education partners /li li Opportunities to participate in recruitment events and business development activities /li /ul p We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have worked as a strong Student Recruitment Officer, Student Counsellor, Education Consultant, Admissions Officer, University Recruitment Officer or Higher Education Adviser /strong . /p p To apply, please submit your updated CV and ensure your previous strong UK Home Student recruitment experience /strong is clearly highlighted. /p p br /p p #Hiring #StudentRecruitment #HomeStudents #HigherEducation #UKUniversities #EducationJobs #LondonJobs #BirminghamJobs #StudentCounsellor #Admissions #EducationConsultant /p
