Teaching Assistant

Year 3 - 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Rochester, Kent Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Start Date: Immediate Start Available Contract: Temporary (with potential for extension) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil at a welcoming primary school in Rochester.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide tailored support, helping the pupil access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil throughout the school day.

Adapt learning activities to meet the student's individual needs. Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure effective support strategies are implemented.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Requirements Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting. Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. What We Offer Competitive daily rate of pay. Full-time hours with an immediate start.
