The school provides a safe, nurturing, and educationally stimulating environment for pupils with moderate to severe special educational needs. The Teaching Assistant role will see you working closely with experienced class teachers to support pupils learning, helping to raise attainment and access learning.

This will include academic tuition with a focus on literacy and numeracy, but there will also be an emphasis on learning life skills, with every pupil having an individualised education plan that you will help deliver. The ethos at this school is to uplift and inspire every child under their care, improving educational and life outcomes and building confidence.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked with embracing and upholding this ethos. Though you will need previous experience supporting children with learning difficulties, the school will support you every day in your role, providing high-quality training for you to make the best possible impact on the lives of these children.
