Teaching Assistant- Wokingham Whether you're an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or someone looking to transition into the education sector, this Teaching Assistant role offers valuable classroom experience while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Your Role As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and students to help create a positive and engaging learning environment. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in helping pupils develop both academically and personally.
Key responsibilities include
Providing classroom support during lessons. Working one-to-one or with small groups of students who require additional guidance. Helping to explain lesson content and reinforce learning. Encouraging participation, confidence, and independence.
Supporting students with their behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement. Assisting teachers with preparing learning resources and classroom activities. Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
What We're Looking For Passionate about helping young people succeed. Positive, patient, and reliable. Confident communicating with students and staff. Interested in developing a career within education. Able to commit to a full-time role during term time.
Experience working with children or young people is welcomed but not essential. Role Information Location: Wokingham Position: Teaching Assistant School Type: Secondary School Start Date: September Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm Pay: £93-£110 per day Contract: Full-time Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
