Team Leader

About the role Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys motivating people and getting the best from a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? As a Team Leader at Kerry Portbury , you'll take the lead on your shift, coaching and supporting your team to deliver high standards across safety, quality, productivity and performance .

You'll work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering, helping to solve problems, drive continuous improvement and create a positive, high-performing environment where your team can succeed. We're recruiting for both day and night shift Team Leaders Day Shifts, rotating every two weeks Week 1 Monday to Friday, 0600 - 1400 Week 2 Monday to Friday, 1400 - 2200 Night Shift Sunday to Friday, 2200 - 0600 You'll be someone who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and leading from the front, while building a strong, engaged team around you.

What will you do? As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of your shift, ensuring targets are achieved across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. In this role you will - Lead, motivate and develop the Mixing team, creating a positive, high-performing and engaged culture.

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards. Drive operational performance across key KPIs including Safety, Quality, Attainment to Plan, OTIF, OEE, labour cost and waste.

Coordinate labour and resources effectively to meet production requirements. Support, coach and develop team members through training, feedback and performance management.
