Temp to perm Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer, Electrically qualified, Kettering, £55,000 Double Day shift Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers required to join a dynamic company. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to make a difference.

The Maintenance Engineer's role will involve: Carrying out reactive maintenance (respond to breakdowns) both electrical and mechanical across the site whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed The Maintenance Engineer will work from a CMMS (Computerised maintenance management system) in close collaboration with Production and Engineering to maximise machine efficiency and minimise both machinery breakdowns and production disturbances.

Have knowledge of; carrying out Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, Root Cause Analysis, Pneumatics fault finding on PLCs A high standard of electrical and mechanical knowledge will be required (electrically qualified is a must).

An electrical qualification is a must, along with experience working in a manufacturing environment. The successful Maintenance Engineer will need to have a high standard of electrical and mechanical knowledge, with experience in carrying out, Root Cause Analysis, Pneumatics and fault finding on PLCs The Maintenance Engineer will have some the following

qualifications

BTECH, ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G, NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance Time served apprentice Multi-skilled Engineer HNC level in electrical or production maintenance engineering This is a Temporary-to-Permanent (Temp-to-Perm) opportunity.

Applicants must be available to start at short notice, have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available), and be confident working in a fast-paced environment. This position is commutable from Corby, Kettering, Northampton, Wellingborough, Milton Keynes, and Bedford.
