Passionate English Teacher wanted in Hackney! TLR opportunities for those looking to lead and inspire. Our ambitious Hackney school is seeking a dedicated and skilled English Teacher to join our successful department. We are keen to hear from teachers who are not only excellent in the classroom but also have the drive and potential to take on a TLR and contribute to the ongoing development of English provision.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5). Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for English language and literature. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress. TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage, developing literacy across the curriculum, or mentoring colleagues. We Offer: Competitive Hackney-based salary.

Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field. Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply). A strong passion for the subject and a desire to improve outcomes for students.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities (for TLR consideration).
