Job Description Toolmaker / Machinist (Great Training) £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Internal Training + Day Shift + Monday-Friday + Permanent Role Commutable from: Beckenham, Bromley, Croydon, Orpington, Lewisham, Greenwich, Dartford, Sidcup, Catford, and surrounding areas Are you a Toolmaker, Manual Machinist or CNC Machinist looking for a stable, days-based position with solid earning potential through plentiful overtime and the chance to sharpen your hands-on machining and tooling skills through internal training and bespoke technical projects?
This is a permanent, site-based role with a well-established engineering manufacturer, offering a clear day shift pattern and a business that will upskill the right person to help build a successful career within a market-leading organisation.
You'll be joining a specialist environment supporting press tooling and engineering manufacture, where hands-on skill and real understanding of materials and machining fundamentals are valued. In this role, you'll work within the Toolroom function, producing and supporting tooling through a mix of manual and CNC machining across turning, milling and grinding.
This role suits someone who either have previous experience in manual machining or toolmaking, or is a machinist or similar looking to develop skills in the industry.

Toolmaker position within a Toolroom / progression toolmaking environment Workshop based role Monday to Friday, 40 hours: 07:30-16:00 or 08:30-17:00
