We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a newly opening main dealership in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a new workshop team, with strong earning potential, manufacturer training and genuine long-term career progression.

your responsibilities will include

Carrying out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard Carrying out electronic vehicle health checks and identifying additional work Accurately completing job cards and recording work undertaken Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workshop safety Vehicle Technician Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Main dealership or independent garage experience considered MOT Tester licence desirable but not essential Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop Professional and team-focused approach Full UK driving licence This Vehicle Technician position offers something slightly different the opportunity to join a new dealership from the outset , establish yourself within the workshop team and grow with the site as the business develops.
