Location: Rugby, Warwickshire Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays Job Type: Permanent Our client is a busy and established vehicle dealership in Rugby and is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join their growing workshop team.

The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of vehicles to a high standard.
Your duties will include: Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Carrying out MOT preparation and general vehicle inspections Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults Completing repairs efficiently and accurately Carrying out brake, clutch, suspension, steering and exhaust repairs Maintaining accurate records of work completed Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and dealership standards Working as part of a busy and professional workshop team Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Mechanic or Service Technician , ideally within a main dealership, independent garage or automotive workshop .
You should have: Previous experience in a vehicle technician / mechanic role Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Experience servicing and repairing passenger vehicles Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic The ability to work independently and as part of a team A full UK driving licence NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification wou...
