Location: Fordingbridge Salary: £24,784.50 - £26,000 pa depending on experience + comany performance bonus paid 1/4 Hours: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday, including 1 hour for lunch Benefits for the Warehouse Operative: 22 days holiday pa + bank holidays Free parking Uniform provided Pension Full training provided Working with our Client who is a well-established global distributor, we are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within their packing department on a permanent, full-time basis.
TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE LOCALLY. Requirements of the WarehouseOperative: Be able to work the hours stated. Be physically fit a lot of manual handling, standing for a long period of time and walking involved.
Have excellent timekeeping and be reliable. Be computer literate. Be able to multitask. Be numerate. Have excellent communication skills. Have excellent attention to detail. Be flexible to suit the business needs. Be a strong team player.
Be highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines when under pressure. Responsibilities of the WarehouseOperative: Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy Inspection of customer orders to ensure Right first time.
Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times Releasing of orders to couriers Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required. Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures.
Follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures and follow all HS&E regulations. Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager.
