3-month contract role with a local authority Summary This is a 3-month contract role with a local authority focused on developing implementing and maintaining a comprehensive operational training competency and compliance program across Fleet Waste Services and the wider operational workforce.
The postholder will ensure that all employees including agency workers drivers loaders street cleansing operatives and frontline staff are fully trained assessed and competent to carry out their duties safely efficiently and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements Responsibilities Develop and implement a structured operational training program across Waste Services and operational teams.
Design and maintain training frameworks for drivers loaders street cleansing operatives and other frontline staff. Deliver induction programs for permanent temporary and agency employees. Develop and update training materials toolkits and learning resources.
Ensure all training programs remain aligned with legislative and operational requirements.
Requirements
Essential Experience Required Experience delivering operational or driver training within a fleet waste highways transport logistics or local authority environment. Experience developing and implementing training programs and competency frameworks.
Essential Qualifications Required Full UK Driving Licence. Relevant experience in operational training fleet compliance transport operations or workforce development. Additional Information Working hours: 37 hours per week.
5 days onsite. Location: Town Hall Rugby. We work on a bi-weekly schedule. The role closes soon apply ASAP. Required
