If so, we'd love you to join our engineering team as a Working Charge Hand at Hounslow Heath Garage. What You'll Be DoingAs a key member of our team, you'll:Supervise and support our workshop staff during your shiftEnsure all vehicles meet Company, TfL and VOSA standardsMake sure enough clean, reliable vehicles are ready for serviceRespond quickly to breakdowns, minimising lost mileageOversee repairs, inspections and documentation such as MOT and rota plannersLiaise with service controllers, stores and suppliers to keep everything running smoothlyMonitor quality, cost-effectiveness and timeliness of engineering workChampion Health & Safety in the workplaceWhat We're Looking ForQualified Engineer (Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Must have a PSV driving licenceProven supervisory experience – able to lead, motivate and coachPrevious bus industry experienceExcellent communication and influencing skillsSolid knowledge of health & safety standardsOrganised, methodical and calm under pressureFlexible, self-motivated and a strong team playerFull UK driving licenceCan cover shifts 7 on 3 off- 7on 4 off early shift 05:30-14:00, Late shift 13:30 – 22:00
