Job Description Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher Weston-super-MareStart: SeptemberContract: Full-time (until end of academic year)Potential: Permanent from September 2027Salary: M1UPS (£32,916 £51,048)TLR available from January for the right personWere working with a lovely, two-form entry primary school in Weston-Super-Mare who are looking for an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join them from September.
This school is very popular in the community, boasting large, light and modernised classrooms. Excellent resources and technology and a supportive SLT.Its well organised, calm, and supportive. Its a smaller school with a real everyone knows everyone feel, and it shows in both staff morale and the way the children learn.
The role itself: This is a full class teaching role in Year 1. Planning is already in place for term 1 & 2, so your focus is on delivering lessons well, keeping standards high, and building strong relationships with the class.
Youll still be involved in marking and adapting resources, but you wont be taking work home every night to plan from scratch.
