This is an excellent opportunity to work within a nationally recognised practice, advising on high value, complex disputes for public and private sector clients across the UK.The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing a varied and stimulating caseload of contentious construction matters, including: Advising on final account and loss and expense claimsHandling significant defect disputes and PFI/PPP project issuesActing on high value adjudications, litigation and alternative dispute resolutionWorking with clients including local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations, developers, funders and contractorsSupporting senior lawyers on major national disputes and strategic advisory workDrafting pleadings, correspondence and legal analysis with precisionLiaising directly with clients and external stakeholdersContributing to a collaborative, national team with strong cross office integrationCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:1-5 years PQE in construction disputes or commercial litigation with construction exposureStrong drafting, analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to manage time effectively and handle a busy caseloadConfidence in liaising with clients and delivering clear, commercial adviceAmbition to develop expertise within a high performing national teamA proactive, organised and collaborative approachInterest in progressing within a growing practice with excellent long term prospectsFlexible working arrangements are available, including part time options and no fixed office attendance requirements.
