Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects) | Belfast Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy as they continue to expand their capability across the renewable energy sector.
Due to an increasing workload and a growing pipeline of renewable energy projects, they are seeking a Renewable Energy / Electrical Engineer to join their Belfast team. Working across wind, solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will support the delivery of projects from early-stage development through design and construction.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer or Project Engineer looking to develop their career within a growing sector while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.

You will be responsible for: Supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects including wind, solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Assisting with electrical engineering design, technical assessments and project coordinationSupporting projects from feasibility and planning through detailed design and constructionPreparing technical reports, drawings and project documentationLiaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teamsSupporting project management activities including programme coordination and stakeholder engagementContributing to the development of practical, technically robust and commercially considered engineering solutionsWhat you will need to succeed as an Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects)Technical experienceDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related disciplineIdeally a few years' post-graduate experience within renewable energy, electrical engineering or infrastructure projectsExperience delivering or supporting wind, solar or BESS projects would be advantageousCandidates with experience managing renewable energy projects from either a consultancy or contractor background are also encouraged to applyA strong interest in renewable energy and the wider energy transitionPersonal attributesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teamsA proactive and solutions-focused approachStrong organisational and time management skillsAmbition to develop a long-term career within the renewable energy sectorWhat's in it for you?
