About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to oversee mechanical systems at a large, complex site. You'll manage the maintenance, compliance, and performance of critical systems, leading a team to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities

Manage specialist contracts, ensuring compliance and service quality. Oversee PPM programme and ensure plant reliability. Supervise statutory compliance maintenance and ensure accurate documentation. Contribute to asset lifecycle planning and risk identification.

Support capital projects and manage technical specifications. Provide leadership, training, and development to the engineering team. Deputise for senior management and coordinate with other teams.

What You'll Need

Mechanical engineering qualifications (experience in regulated environments). Experience as an Authorised Person for mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including process equipment. Familiarity with CAFM or asset management systems.
