Finance Manager

Finance Manager Permanent Role Salary up to £55k Start - negotiable Coatbridge Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Coatbridge to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This will be a broad and varied role, you'll play an important role in managing the day-to-day financial operations, producing accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting and reporting, and ensuring robust financial processes are maintained.

The key responsibilities of a Finance Manager will be: Oversee the day-to-day finance function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and invoicing. Manage bank reconciliations, supplier payments, credit control and cash flow.

Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, P&L and financial reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end processes. Manage VAT returns and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, suppliers.

Monitor expenditure, budgets and financial performance. Manage supplier accounts, contracts and renewals. Oversee financial systems and processes, including SAGE. Identify and implement process and system improvements. Ensure financial procedures and reporting deadlines are consistently met.

Support with financial analysis, budgeting and business projects. Interviews will be held next week at our clients HQ.
