HGV Technician Location: Weston-super-Mare Salary: £42,300 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 45 hours per week, rotating shifts Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 45 hours Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to maintain and repair a varied municipal fleet in Weston-super-Mare.

The fleet includes HGV tractor units, gully tankers, roll-on/roll-off vehicles and skip vehicles. The Role Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Prepare vehicles for MOT and rectify defects. Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately. Work closely with the workshop team to keep vehicles safe, reliable and available. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

What We're Looking For Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance and repair is desirable.

An HGV Class 2 licence is desirable. Working Hours Rotating shifts across a 45-hour working week: Week 1: 06:00–15:30 Week 2: 08:30–18:30 Pay and Benefits £42,300 per annum Overtime paid at time and a half after 45 hours.
