THE SCANIA DEALER FOR NORTHERN IRELAND REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING: HGV TECHNICIANS (TECH/26/11)(POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN LARNE & OMAGH) Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor/Shift Leader, the successful candidates will be experienced HGV technicians, and will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of customers commercial vehicles and trailers. Essential Duties and Job
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair commercial vehicles and trailers to DVA standard. Diagnose faults. Maintain current product knowledge and attend training courses as required. Ensure all aspects of health and safety working practices are adhered to.
Essential criteria include: Level 3 HGV technician qualification. Experience in a commercial vehicle workshop. Ability to work within guidelines and to strict deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and seek solutions to problems.
Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks. Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements within a workshop environment. Computer literate. Desirable criteria include: Category C & E licence. Category B licence.
