MEP Quantity Surveyor - Construction ConsultancyLocation: LondonSector: MEP / Building ServicesType: PermanentI'm working with an established and highly regarded construction consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its growing cost management team.

This is a great opportunity for an MEP-focused QS who wants to work on high-quality, technically interesting projects while continuing to develop within a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people. You'll work alongside experienced MEP and cost management professionals, gaining exposure to a varied portfolio of projects and clients.

There is plenty of scope to take on greater responsibility as you progress, making this an excellent career move for someone ambitious but looking for the right environment in which to develop. The RoleAs an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, providing specialist commercial and cost management advice on mechanical and electrical packages.

Responsibilities will include: MEP cost planning, estimating and benchmarkingProcurement and tender managementPreparing and reviewing tender documentationTender analysis and contractor recommendationsManaging valuations, variations and changeCost reporting and forecastingSupporting contract administrationFinal account negotiationsWorking closely with clients, design teams and contractorsProviding commercial advice throughout project deliveryAbout YouI'm looking for someone with: Quantity Surveying experience within MEP / building servicesExperience gained within a construction consultancy, contractor or specialist MEP environmentGood knowledge of mechanical and electrical packagesStrong commercial and cost management skillsExcellent communication and client-facing abilityA relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related qualificationMRICS status or working towards chartership would be advantageous, but is not essentialWhy Consider It?
