Operations Manager, AMZL

Overview

In this role you lead a team of area managers to drive safe, high-quality, and productive operations across a site. You will shape the operational plan, coach managers, and partner with HR, Finance, Safety, and Security to meet targets. You contribute to continuous improvement and innovative delivery solutions as part of Amazon Logistics’ last-mile network. You’ll balance day-to-day leadership with strategic initiatives to scale performance and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
• Lead shift-based operational teams, resolve issues, and positively impact site performance
• Analyse shift performance against business objectives and drive actions to improve operational excellence
• Collaborate with support teams (HR, Finance, Health and Safety, Security)
• Design and deliver site-wide initiatives to improve performance

Key requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree
• Experience in people and stakeholder management
• Advanced English (verbal and written) and intermediate local language
• Experience using data or evidence to influence business decisions
• Experience in production and supply chains
