Reference: ORJ921957780_1787924471Real Estate Associate Solicitor - Development - 5+PQE - CardiffLocation: CardiffDepartment: Property - DevelopmentType of Role: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 55,000 - 75,000 (depending on experience)A well established and growing Property team is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor (5 + years' PQE) with a strong background in development work.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a wider development team, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to private and public sector developers and funders across commercial and residential schemes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to build and maintain trusted client relationships. The RoleYou will handle a broad range of development focused property work, including: Acting on land acquisitions via options, conditional contracts and package deals for private developers and housing associationsDrafting and negotiating conditional agreements for lease for pre letsManaging all aspects of site assembly, including planning and adoption agreements, utility wayleaves and substation transfersAssisting with construction documentation where requiredAdvising borrowers on development funding requirementsUndertaking full development due diligence when acting for fundersHandling onward disposals of completed units and investment salesYou will work closely with colleagues across the development team, supporting major projects and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
