Aspion are delighted to be supporting a leading international manufacturing business in their search for a Sales Support Team Leader to join their team in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a customer-focused sales support function, managing teams across multiple European locations whilst playing a key role in the company's continued growth.

The RoleAs the Sales Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Support professionals, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered across both UK and international markets. You will act as a key link between customers, sales, production, logistics, technical, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from enquiry through to delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop and support a team across multiple locations, ensuring high levels of performance, training, and professional development. Oversee all Sales Office operational activities including customer credit applications, call-off orders, rebate schemes, and consignment stock management.

Take ownership of the full Order-to-Cash process, ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained. Manage intercompany sales activities across multiple business units. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of customer and prospect databases.

Support website enquiries and work closely with technical and operational teams to provide commercial solutions. Provide reporting, stock analysis, and commercial data to support the external sales team and wider business planning.

Prepare monthly reports and analysis for Sales Meetings and Senior Management Team meetings. Manage supplier relationships and pricing for ancillary products. Attend customer visits, exhibitions, and industry events when required.

What We're Looking ForDegree qualified in Business, Economics, or a related discipline preferred but not essential. Previous experience within Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Management, or Commercial Support functions.

Experience within manufacturing essential. Proven experience leading, mentoring, or supervising teams. Strong commercial awareness with a customer-first approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additional European language skills would be advantageous but are not essential. Full Package Salary – Negotiable down to experienceOffice based – does NOT offer remote or Hybrid.
