Position Details Role: Level 2 Teaching Assistant Location: Burnley Start Date: December 2026 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Year Group: Year 2 Pay Rate: £15.11 per hour About the Role The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher within a Year 2 classroom, supporting pupils with their learning and development.

You will help deliver engaging activities, provide targeted support where needed, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Have experience working within a primary school setting. Be enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting children's learning. Have strong communication and teamwork skills. Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Have experience supporting pupils with SEND (preferred but not essential).
