Job Description Team Leader / Supervisor – Structural SteelLocation: RochesterPosition: Team Leader / SupervisorEmployment: Temp-to-PermHours: 5:45am – 2:00pmPay: £15.00 per hourRole OverviewA temp-to-perm opportunity is available for an experienced Team Leader / Yardman working with structural steel in the Rochester area.
The company works with structural steel and provides services including shot blasting and finishing. You will be responsible for supervising a team of operatives and overseeing the day-to-day duties and organisation of the yard.
Main ResponsibilitiesManaging and supervising a team of approximately 6 yard operatives. Allocating daily duties and ensuring work is completed efficiently. Handling and moving structural steel safely around the yard. Loading and unloading structural steel and materials.
Organising incoming and outgoing steelwork. Coordinating the movement of steelwork through the yard and work areas. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
Working closely with management and other teams. Dealing with day-to-day issues and ensuring the yard runs smoothly. Carrying out general yard duties when required. Working Hours & PayHours: 5:45am – 2:00pmPay: £15.00 per hourContract: Temp-to-PermINDMAITPBN1_UKTJ
