p strong SENIOR INTERACTION DESIGNER – £70,000 – REMOTE (WITH OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITE IN TAUNTON) – SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED /strong /p p br /p p MERITUS are recruiting for a strong Senior Interaction Designer /strong to join a leading organisation delivering complex strong UK Central Government and Defence programmes /strong . /p p br /p p This role would suit an experienced strong Interaction Designer, UX Designer or Senior UX Designer /strong with strong expertise in strong user-centred design, prototyping, wireframing and accessible digital services /strong .
Experience across strong discovery, alpha and delivery /strong , particularly within Government or Defence, would be highly beneficial. /p p br /p p strong
Responsibilities
/strong /p ul li Lead strong interaction design /strong across discovery, alpha and delivery. /li li Create strong wireframes, prototypes, interaction models and design patterns /strong . /li li Work directly with users and customers to understand needs. /li li Facilitate strong design workshops /strong and stakeholder sessions. /li li Collaborate with researchers, service and content designers, developers and stakeholders. /li li Apply strong accessibility and inclusive design /strong principles. /li li Communicate design decisions using evidence and user insight. /li /ul p br /p p strong Skills Experience: /strong /p p strong
Essential
/strong /p ul li strong SC Clearance /strong /li li Strong commercial experience in strong interaction design / UX design /strong . /li li Experience across strong discovery, alpha and delivery /strong . /li li Strong strong wireframing, prototyping and interaction design /strong capability. /li li Comfortable working directly with strong customers and users /strong . /li li Confident facilitating workshops. /li li Strong stakeholder and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. /li li Experience working closely with strong development teams /strong . /li /ul p br /p p strong
Desirable
/strong /p ul li strong UK Central Government, Defence or regulated-sector experience. /strong /li li Knowledge of strong GDS / GOV.UK service standards /strong . /li li Experience with design systems and Agile delivery. /li li Interest or experience in strong service and content design /strong . /li /ul p br /p p strong
