Document Controller

Overview

As part of the project information team, you will support BIM 360 deployment, information management, and data exchange across projects. You’ll work with the Information Manager and Document Control to rollout BIM 360, train project teams, and ensure compliant information flows within a common data environment. You’ll help assemble outputs, coordinate information delivery, and foster a collaborative culture across stakeholders. This role offers hands-on impact in delivering essential infrastructure projects with a focus on data integrity and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Follow Project Information Plan and Asset Information Plan set at project start
• Set up projects in BIM 360 NextGen (folders, user access, workflows)
• Support BIM 360 rollout to new projects and provide training/visits
• Assist with BIM360 implementation and ongoing use on projects
• Help Project Team assemble information for outputs and reporting
• Enable reliable information exchange through a common data environment
• Coordinate information integration within the Information Model
• Ensure delivery of information exchanges and validate compliance
• Liaise with Project Team and Employer to support collaborative working culture

Key requirements

• Background and understanding of a variety of engineering projects and processes
• Demonstrable stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationships skills
